Redeeming payment vouchers in-store

Data controllers

The data controllers are Nordea, Swedbank, and Bankgirot, on whose behalf Clearon issues payment vouchers that are mailed to payees. Questions regarding the processing of personal data should be directed to the data controller.

Clearon acts as a data processor for this service.

Personal data processed

Personal identity number, name, address, identity document

Legal basis for processing

1. To fulfill Clearon’s contractual obligations towards the client regarding the ordered service.
2. After completion of the transaction processing personal data must be retained by Clearon for 5 years in accordance with the Act (2017:630) on Measures against Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing.

Transferred data

Personal data is transferred to another party within Sweden if necessary to fulfill legal requirements, such as anti-money laundering checks or screening against international sanctions and PEP lists, in accordance with fulfilling the agreement with the client.

Purging of personal data

Once the statutory retention period for the transaction has been reached, stored personal data is automatically deleted. Before that time has elapsed, the "right to be forgotten" does not apply.

Archiving

On behalf of the data controller, Clearon stores images of redeemed vouchers for 10 years in accordance with the Statute of Limitations Act. No processing of this data occurs unless retrieval is requested in individual cases by the data controller or an authority.
