The personal data processed regarding digital gift cards includes the sender's email address, the recipient's name and mobile number, as well as any specified sender name or personal message from the sender to the recipient.
The personal data processed in relation to digital coupon campaigns consists of the participant's mobile number or email address.
1. To fulfill Clearon's contractual obligations to the consumer regarding the ordered service.
2. Following the completion of processing, the transaction and associated personal data are retained in Clearon's systems for 6 months after the gift card or coupon's expiration date. The legal basis for this processing is Clearon's legitimate interest in being able to follow up on transactions and, for example, handle any claims.
In cases where digital gift cards or coupons are ordered by a company, the company will provide Clearon with a list of the recipients' phone numbers.
In cases where a physical gift card is ordered (via the Marabougram service), recipient details will be transferred to a printing facility, printed, and mailed to the recipient. Collected data will not be used for any purposes other than those described above.
Consumers who sign up for a campaign or place a gift card order must consent to their personal data being processed and stored as described above; otherwise, the request cannot be fulfilled.
