Oral health is a category that is often overlooked on the store shelf. Through a digital wheel of fortune in Clearon's Engage service, Sensodyne got almost 9,000 unique participants to stop and take notice of the brand.
"We wanted to increase engagement and spark interest in a category that is often overlooked," says Isabel Cortez, Customer Marketing Manager at Haleon. By scanning a QR code in store, consumers could spin a digital wheel of fortune and compete for prizes, with the main prize a free dental visit at Smile Tandvård, along with product vouchers for toothpaste.

"The key to the campaign was simplicity – both for consumers and for the store," says Isabel. "I like that there are so many opportunities to tailor your campaign in Engage."
"An activity like this makes consumers pause on their way round the store, see our products on the shelf and want to take part in our competitions," notes Isabel.

The campaign, which ran in the spring, attracted almost 9,000 unique participants – clear proof that a simple and tailored set-up can generate engagement even in a category that is often overlooked on the store shelf.
A simple set-up, for both consumer and store, lowered the threshold for taking part in the competition.
The flexibility of the Engage platform made it possible to build a competition adapted to the brand's needs.
A free dental visit and product vouchers made the prizes relevant to the target group and increased the willingness to take part.
